The Jade House
Jade is a precious stone of exquisite color and of great value. The “Jade House” is a small boutique hotel, restaurant and bar. You got to see this hotel.
It is a little hard to find but worth the hunt. It is located at Jomtien Nivate. Jomtien Nivate is a short side street to your left on the road to Jomtien (Thappraya Road). There is a sign for “Relax” health and fitness spa on the right side of Thappraya Road. On the left side of Thappraya Road is “Noon Restaurant” that has 80 Baht spaghetti. You will see a huge block sign on Nivate road that marks the entrance to Nivate Road. Once you find Nivate Road the rest is easy. The “Jade House” is about 75 meters down Nivate Road on the right and their sign is green. Can you imagine that?
There is parking. The “Jade House” is set back a few steps from Nivate Road. There are two entrances. One entrance is up the steps to the bar and restaurant. The other entrance is to the garden entrance to the hotel.
I was so impressed by the beauty of the garden. There are statues and figurines everywhere you turn. There are woodcarvings and water ponds. It is so lush. There are trees and plants and flowers everywhere. It’s a garden. It was so beautiful and peaceful. I wanted to check-in to the hotel immediately.
I looked through the garden and could see a swimming pool that was so beautiful. It was calling my name. I can imagine myself sitting in the shade and enjoying the beauty of the pool and taking my brunch with a friend or two or three or four. I got to stop dreaming. This place is so beautiful. You got to see this place.
Go to the bar and have a drink. They will let you tour the gardens and hotel on your own. I went in the evening and the bar had about quiet music and the normal prices for drinks. There are a few leather couches to lounge in while you slow down and enjoy life and living. They open at 1pm.
The hotel accommodations range from 400 Baht to 700 Baht and there are discounts for one-month accommodations. They will take care of you. Don’t worry about little things like laundry because they will take care of you.
One of the best things about this hotel is that it is only one month old. Everything is new. It is so clean and impressive.
I must admit that I did not eat in the restaurant. The owner told me that they serve European and Thai meals and have American breakfast. The coffee is top quality. I got to go back and try this restaurant. You got to see this place. It’s called the “Jade House.” Live long and prosper.
