Howdy ! Partner. Grab you gal and mosey on over to the “Pattaya Riding club” and saddle up. Horses and ponies are available for a ride around the paddock or a long ride in the field to explore the countryside and the lake. Mornings and evenings down by the lake are a sight for sore eyes. Keep your britches out of the cactus. Ha ha ha. Oh, Yes! The smell will take you back to Texas, Mexico, Oklahoma, Arizona, Argentina, Austria or whatever part of horse country you come from. After a day in the saddle, mosey into the bunkhouse to relax and set a spell and have a drink of branch water and later some grub when the restaurant is finished. The ranch opened for business July 4th-5th. You will love sittin’ around the giant heavy polished wooden tables that are big and strong enough to support the weight of John Wayne and Hoss Cartwright combined. Ha ha ha. Khun Poonpol Kamuttira has a nice spread. The ranch and the riding club are located next to “DesJoyaux”. They manufacture swimmin’ holes. They are friendly folks. You’ll recognize the white rail fence in front of the bunkhouse, were you can hitch-up your horse or park your pick-up truck or Cadillac car. Saddles, bridles, tack, cowboy hats are available. Ware tight long leg britches. Also, for the equestrian riders the British helmet and riding crop are available. Bring your riding boots and tack and you can store them in the bunkhouse on the ranch. Membership and/or guest riding applications are available. If you’re in Thailand for a short vacation, guest membership is for you. You get the whole works of the ranch for 500 Baht per hour and 300 Baht per half- hour. Six-month and one year memberships are available for those of us who love horses and the country life. Six-month memberships are 5,000 Baht and one-year memberships are 6,000 Baht plus 300 Baht per hour and 200 Baht per half-hour. Come on over to the ranch and set a spell and negotiate a deal with Khun Poonpol and the friendly folks at the riding club and start enjoyin’ the outdoor life in the saddle. Little britches and city folk are welcome to come and see the ranch and enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of the horses and maybe sign up for riding lessons.
